The core process of water pump assembly

1. Preparation and Inspection of Components
Rough machining: Mechanical machining such as turning, milling, drilling, etc. is performed on cast or forged pump bodies, impellers, pump covers, etc. to ensure dimensional accuracy (such as impeller diameter error ≤ 0.1mm).
Inspection of purchased parts: Check the quality certificates and physical condition of purchased parts such as motors, bearings, seals, couplings, etc. (such as bearing clearance and sealing ring hardness).
Cleaning and rust prevention: Use cleaning agents to remove oil stains and iron filings on the surface of components, and apply rust prevention oil to key parts (such as shaft necks).
2. Pump body assembly
Pump body positioning: Fix the pump body on the assembly fixture to ensure a levelness of ≤ 0.05mm/m.
Installation of shaft sleeve: Hot install the shaft sleeve (heated to 150-200 ℃), press it into the pump body with a press, and control the interference fit to 0.02-0.05mm.
Sealing chamber assembly: Install mechanical seals or packing boxes, check the parallelism of the sealing surface to be ≤ 0.02mm, and avoid leakage.
3. Assembly of impeller and shaft
Impeller balance correction: Conduct a dynamic balance test on the impeller, with an unbalance of ≤ 5g · cm (at a speed of 3000r/min).
Shaft and impeller assembly: Hot or hydraulic assembly processes are used to ensure that the coaxiality of the impeller and shaft is ≤ 0.03mm.
Key connection inspection: Use a feeler gauge to check the clearance between the key and keyway to ensure that there is no looseness.
4. Connection between motor and pump body
Coupling alignment: Use a dial gauge to check the coaxiality between the motor and pump shaft, with a radial error of ≤ 0.05mm and an axial error of ≤ 0.1mm.
Bolt tightening: Tighten the connecting bolts in diagonal order in stages, and the torque value meets the design requirements (such as M12 bolt torque 80-100N · m).
Installation of protective cover: Fix the motor protective cover to ensure no interference and good ventilation.
5. Pipeline and accessory connection
Import and export flange connection: Install the import and export flanges, tighten the bolts with a torque wrench, and check that the sealing surface is free of scratches.
Pressure gauge and valve installation: Install pressure gauges and shut-off valves according to the drawing requirements, ensuring correct direction and no leakage.
Grounding wire connection: Ground the electric water pump with a resistance value of ≤ 4 Ω.
